Details

This one is a 6.6kW, 20 x Q.Cells Q.PEAK DUO G5+ panels (those bad boys are made in Korea and have a 25 year product warranty) with a Fronius Primo 5kW inverter.

 

We used Sunlock racking to keep the array closer to the roof so it looks a bit neater.

 

This system is right up at the premium end of our product offering.

Sulphur Creek

This one came about because the owner thought that the system we installed back in 2010 needed replacing. We installed a new 6.6kW system, and in the end got their existing system going anyway.

 

New system is 20 x JA solar split cell 330w mono perc panels with a 5kW Sungrow inverter.

 

They now have a total of 8.7kW of solar.

Shed

This is a 4kW system with 12 Q.Cells Q.PEAK 330w panels. It is installed on the owner's shed because he already has a system installed on the north roof of his house. The inverter is an ABB (who are now Fimer) UNO 4kW.

It's about as big as TasNetworks will let him go, which is ok because he is pretty much out of roof.

Details

This large inner-city system consists of 66 JA multicystalline solar panels installed over two roof areas and 2 Fronius 8.2 kW inverters.

 

It was designed to minimise visual impact to neighbouring properties through the use of black mounting rails, clamps and black-framed panels which reduces the contrast against the black trimdek roof.

This system consists of REC twinpeak solar panels and a 13kWh lithium ion Solax powerstation, which allows for excess daytime solar generation to be stored for use overnight.

Tranmere

This is a premium solar system consisting of REC twin peak 2 panels and an SMA inverter.

In addition an SMA energy meter was installed which allows the owner to monitor both the solar generation of the system and the energy usage of the house.
